Walk through part of Heartwood Forest up to Redbournbury Mill at 6 miles for an opportunity to buy bread / baked goods from the baker or have a quick peek in the mill. We then head to Verulamium park and St Albans cathedral where we'll lunch in the park at approximately 9.5 miles, perhaps taking in the old Roman wall and the Roman mosaic floor and the cathedral.
There is a café in the park so a chance to grab a drink. Return via Childwickbury and Sandridgebury
