Walking from dawn until dusk, the author describes his walk across England: from the far north east to the far south west, from the Scottish border to Land's End, from the North Sea and Norway to the Atlantic Ocean and America. Along the way me meet variously coloured cows, beautiful scenery, annoying crops, and good and bad pubs. The joys of walking through England's glorious landscape are mixed with the hardship of camping out rough in cold weather. There are ups and downs and plenty of sore feet and oozing blisters. If you'd like to know more about endurance walking then read on. If you can't understand why someone should want to do this kind of thing then there may be some answers here... or maybe not.
