We have been advised that as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade, Network Rail are proposing to close Copmanthorpe (Bishopthorpe) level crossing. This may affect four LDPs on our database that currently use this crossing namely Ebor Way (marked on OS Maps), Coastliner Way, Paulinus Way and White Rose Way
More details of the public consultation can be found at https://www.networkrail.co.uk/running-the-railway/railway-upgrade-plan/key-projects/transpennine-route-upgrade/copmanthorpe-level-crossing/
In the meantime, cautionary notes have been added to the respective LDP web pages.
