Has anybody tried the thurava sat sleeve for the iPhone .
Prices vary at moment but with a good iPhone battery and also the viewfinder app or os maps app this has got to be a cheaper gps type system for the future and with iPhone usb c charger .
Which can charge as fast as 25 mins.
This has got to be the way forward in the future and can see a end to gps system .Ie Garmin and Satmap.
Providing the iPhone is in a waterproof case can not see no problem with this system.
YOU may have to pay a sat charge for phone usage which may make it more expensive at moment.
But as a emergency back may still be worth having and using gps still until sat charges come down in price
