Hi Chris. The best way to report this closure is using the LDPs Change Report Form, which is on the Toolkit at
https://ldwa.org.uk/library/toolkit.php#LDPs
Please identify in as much detail as possible the stretch of the Nene (Valley) Way that is closed off, and any information that you may have seen on notices with stated start and end dates for the closure.
Thanks
Iain Connell, LDPs Officer.

Yesterday we walked from Stamford to Peterborough following the Hereward way down to the A43 crossing at Sacrewell farm and then the Nene Valley way from there to the city centre. There is a 2 mile section of the NVW closed by (non-existent!?!) road building works. This meant that we had to walk along a dangerous section of the A43 as far as Sutton before we could return to the NVW. Even if we'd followed the Hereward way to the A43 we would still have been forced towels almost a mile on the main road. I can't find anything about this closure online and there was no alternative given by the road working team. I suspect that the path hasn't been open at all this year. Other than in this forum, what is the correct way of report this to other members or getting a diversion put in place please. Many thanks.
