Okehampton rlwy stn, Station Road, Okehampton, Devon. EX20 1EJ

A circular route of about 18 miles. Climbing the highest points on north Dartmoor, with moorland crossings & a visit to Meldon Reservoir & the hamlet of Lake before returning to Okehampton station via the Dartmoor Way. Mostly on open moorland & footpaths

General Notes

*Pre booking essential - at least 24 hrs before please*. This walk will be day 1 of Cornwall & Devon's August Bank Holiday "Dartmoor Tors & Moors Special " A pub visit enroute & optionally another at Okehampton after the finish are planned. Waterproofs warm clothing & appropriate footwear for open moorland required. Bring a picnic lunch. Dogs welcome on a lead
