Sat 20th Jul 2024

Walk Details:

Event Details Updated
Distance c 13 miles. Using Kanter paths in reverse. Excellent views and good going underfoot (albeit on the recce a bit hazy, and if you skirted the mud!). Easier approach to the high point of the Chilterns namely Ivinghoe Beacon. A lot of path clearance was done on the recce so do come along to make our hard work worthwhile! Please note earlier start time of 8,30 from Pitstone Memorial Hall LU7 9EY. Build up an appetite and sample some of the delicious cakes at the Curiositea Tea Rooms which closes at 1600. Please let me know if you are attending so I can inform the café. For further details please contact me. Norman Corrin on 01908 608667. Mobile on day 07980 378656.
