If you wish to use public transport to join us we'll be at the Star Club rowing club house by 9:30 ish near Prebend Bridge which is 5 mins from bus station and 10 from train station. On the way back we'll again pass not far from these stations. Please give Therese a call if you wish to do that so she is expecting you.

Park on road leading to the Oasis Swimming Pool near Tesco Supermarket, Cardington Rd Bedford MK42 0BZ

This walk will follow the Ouse Valley Trail all morning, going along the River Ouse and passing through the village of Great Denham to Bromham Mill where we'll stop for a morning break ( tea room and toilets) Then onto Stevington and lovely views of the River getting to Pavenham where we'll stop for lunch. The landlady at The Cock agreed for us to eat our sandwiches in the back garden. There is a bench in the street opposite if you'd prefer.
After lunch we'll follow the John Bunyan Trail going through Oakley, Clapham and to Bedford along the Embankment.
NO stiles, and no hills... a bit of mud guaranteed on a small portion of the path that's wet all year round (for those who are missing having wet footwear!)
