Meet in the first c.p on the right on the A9 as you enter Golspie from the south – NB You are invited to pay to park. OS sheets 17 and 21.

The walk goes along the coast before crossing the A9 to visit the magnificent Big Burn waterfall. We then approach Ben Bhraggie, & its landmark memorial to the Duke of Sutherland, via the back route, which has an easier gradient than the approach from the front – which is the way we will descend and return to Golspie. Dogs welcome.
Afterwards, walkers (and dogs) are invited for drinks and nibbles in the garden at Ardroil, Scotsburn Road, Tain.
