Kendal Bus Station.Car Parking in Kendal - along either Park Avenue or Park Street, just off Romney Road in Kendal - Romney is the right turn as you approach town from the A6, just after the Kendal College

We will this time tackle about 7 miles from Kendal over to Staveley, & then turn our walk into a circular by coming back either along the beautiful River Kent or taking a higher line via Potter's Tarn & Gurnal Dubs, depending on what folks fancy doing. So a walk of 10 11 12 miles in total (depends how we go back)

Walk to Staveley by about 12.30. If anyone just wants to do that there will be a bus back to Kendal at 12.48, 13.48 etc Future stages will be: Staveley to Bowness - adding on some extra miles at the end to get up to Windermere - 8 plus say 3 miles Bowness to Grasmere - 12 miles Grasmere to Keswick - a final section of 15 miles with a good old hill on it!
