Along the coast path via Seatown, Thorncombe Beacon, to views of West Bay (scenes of TV drama Broadchurch), then inland to Symondsbury around the iconic Colmer's Hill & via the sunken holloways of Shute's Lane & Hell Lane to North Chideock. The lunch stop will be at the church of Whitchurch Canonicorum ("The Cathedral of the Vale") with its shrine & relics of St Wite, along with its graveyard with local "celebrities" Sir Robin Day & the ill-fated Giorgi Markov. After lunch we will follow the River Char down to Charmouth & the long climb along Stonebarrow Lane to pick up the coast path. There may be a chance of an afternoon coffee stop at the "Crazy Cow Cafe" (dog-friendly) before reaching Golden Cap (the highest point on the South coast) not far from the end of the walk
