Chilswell Ridge and Valley to Cumnor Folly for lunch. Through the suburbs of Botley with a short stretch on a safe cycle track beside a busy road. Then a tour of Wytham Park (*SEE BELOW*) View of the Trout Inn and then into Oxford along the Thames Path. Tour of town, colleges and the river. Finishing at Oxford Railway Station

General Notes
*IMPORTANT* Entrance to Wytham Park is for members only, so it is necessary that all walkers are members. Membership is free and simple to obtain, it takes 2 minutes to complete an application form online at https://www.wythamwoods.ox.ac.uk/permit. An automatic email response confirms your application and the email should be saved to confirm your membership. The woodlands and park extend over 1000 acres, so it is much larger than Hampstead Heath. This is a Festival Day in Oxford with large colourful crowds and races on the river. It is expected that the main walking part of the day will finish around 5.30pm with optional extension for evening entertainment. Average pace of 2.7 mph. Picnic stops and woodland facilities during the day. Botley has shops to top up on supplies. Very helpful but not essential to send your name and membership number in advance in case there are last minute changes to arrangements. Text or WhatsApp walk leader
