Meet after lunch, walk about 9 miles for a meal stop at Holt. Either bring picnic tea or we can book an early evening meal at the Old Inn at Holt. Return to Holt Heath to watch nightjars (weather permitting). Walk ends ~22:00. Please bring a torch, insect repellent and warm clothes for the evening. Please book with leader by Friday 23rd June if you would like to eat in the pub. Dogs must be kept on a lead across heathland
LDWA is run entirely by volunteers and we work hard to keep costs as low as possible. But costs are always rising so to help us avoid big increases in our modest membership fee, additional donations are always welcomed. Anyone who feels that LDWA has gone the extra mile to provide exceptional service is particularly encouraged to use this facility.
