(Tuesday 25 October 2022 FOULRIDGE, WEETS HIL and HIGHERFORD CIRCULAR
11 miles. Start 10.00 from The Wharfe at Foulridge BB8 7PP (SD 888 425).
Parking can be found on the streets just off the A56, in particular Warehouse Lane � post code above. There is also a car park just after the wharfe, which does not have any restrictions or charges so can also be used. We begin with a short stretch of the Leeds Liverpool canal before a moderate climb up to Weets Hill via Duck Pond Farm with its �statues�. We will then use the Pendle Way for much of the descent to Higherford/Barrowford, but with a short detour around the Blacko Tower. Its back on the canal again as far as the Foulridge tunnel and the final stretch takes in the Foulridge Lower Reservoir.
Good caf� in the Wharfe at the end for those who like their post walk treats!
