Fen Rivers Way is a LDP between Cambridge and Kings Lynn predominately following the course of River Cam and River Great Ouse.

We shall follow a small part of this LDP in both directions.

From the Memorial Playing Fields we head in a roundabout route towards Downham Market railway station and pick up the River Great Ouse heading towards Kings Lynn. Crossing the river at Stow Bridge we head cross country to pick up the river again but this time heading towards Cambridge. We cross at the Denver Sluice complex.

Lunch is intended to be taken at Denver Windmill where there is a picnic area, café, and

Blackstone Engine bar (Two Rivers Micro Brewery) 😊.

After lunch we head along various paths (not alongside rivers) towards and eventually through Downham Market.

Paths are good throughout including grassy river banks and quiet country lanes.

As well as the lunch stop there are opportunities to buy food & drink along the way.

Dogs on leads are welcome
