Starting at the Anchor Pub, Hayden Bridge, NE47 6AB. There is usually ample parking on John Martin Street, which is the 1st left approaching from the east (leading to the Anchor Hotel). We will need to park carefully so as not to obstruct residents

Circular route via West Dipton Burn and Catton ( we may get to see Peter Ford's newly painted trig pillar)

General Notes
Len Fallick will lead us at leisurely pace, 3 stops, taking about 9 hrs and therefore finishing at 17:30. Now that Covid restrictions have been removed, there is no need for pre-walk registration, just turn up on the day. Please contact Paul Nellist, Walks Secretary by the email walks.northumbria@ldwa.org.uk, text or phone, 07495929777 if you have any queries or questions. The Anchor Hotel would seem the obvious place for post walk drinks. Dogs are welcome on leads but beware there are several fields with cattle
