A Little Mallow, Grit, Crag and Stone

An excellent walk led by Gill, taking us over the Forest of Bowland hills in another day of glorious sunshine.  Forgot the camera - dohhh!

It was great to look out to sea at the start of the walk but feel right in the heart of the Dales by the middle of the walk, before returning over the tops to the song of the seabirds to seem incongruously out of place on these hills.

And we learnt a new word - pejorative, now we will leave you to look that one up for yourselves!
