Jingle Even Further with Jim

Eagle and Child all Set for Christmas

Christmas wouldn't be the same without Jim - especially our particular brand of Christmas which comes in February, with plenty of rain instead of snow!

Once more, Jim had a cracking route from Staveley for us, but he had failed a bit on the weather front as it just wouldn't stop raining and blowing a gale at us - never mind, we plodded on, knowing a lovely turkey lunch and glass or two of wine were ahead of us.  Did anyone feel downhearted?  Well maybe at the coffee break when we got thorougly cold, but really, come on now, buck up!

We did have some fine views so our efforts up onto the top of Reston Scar were rewarded, but we sure nipped down the other side a bit quick when one of us caught sight of the pub!

Thanks to Jim for organising us brilliantly once again, and wishing you all the best for your rather more exciting challenge in America.  I gues the Jingle walk will have been a small part of the training!
