Snape Maltings. Suggest parking to rear of site, and meet outside Malt café near the complex entrance off Bridge Road (B1069), Snape, IP17 1SP
The route takes us through Gromford, Friston, Aldringham to Thorpeness and return via outskirts of Aldeburgh and northside of the River Alde to Snape via the Sailors Path. Part of the route retraces the FOS 100

Footpaths along the route are good with walking through open farmland, wooded areas and a stony beach.

Whilst there is the opportunity for an ice cream stop at Thorpeness, please bring enough refreshments for the day.
