It was a wet and moist day in Yaxham, near Dereham. But ten brave souls came out to walk the route led by Julian, covering a quiet and peaceful area of the Norfolk countryside. The walk was part of the newly reinstated Wednesday programme which it is hoped will give more choice for walkers on when they come along on group social walks. Thanks to everyone who came along, we enjoyed our walk through a farm getting the attention of the lambs   :)

Steve and Carol led their first walk and they did a great job, walking around the Kingsfleet & Kirton Marshes. It's good to be back out walking as a group!

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
