Fourteen walkers participated in the joint BBN/E&H Christmas Easy Amble, an 8.4-mile walk from Therfield, north Hertfordshire, taking in rolling hills and other mixed rural scenery on a cloudy, chilly but generally dry winter's day. The walk was ably led by Ian Watson. Half the group then adjourned to the Therfield pub for a very pleasant post-Amble lunch.
