The Shotley Peninsula 50 challenge walk is returning for 2027 as a new joint venture with Norfolk and Suffolk LDWA. Boasting a new HQ, aptly located in the village of Shotley it features an enhanced route taking advantage of a new section of the King Charles 111 English coastal path while retaining old favourites such as Dedham, Flatford Mill and scenic stretches of the rivers Orwell and Stour.
We will offer you five fully serviced checkpoints plus a couple of extra refreshment stations along the route and as usual, churches will feature as stops both by day and night.
This challenge is circular and approximately 52 miles in length - and will serve as a qualifying event for the 2028 LDWA Millstone Hundred.
