The weather on Sunday, blessed us with no rain and mostly sunshine, just as it did the day our  late, good friend Francoise lead this lovely walk in June 2024. A  total of 33 people, from both the groups Francoise loved, namely BBN and Essex & Herts , enjoyed the lovely route designed by our late friend.
After a few words remembering how  much she contributed to  both groups and how we all enjoyed time walking and talking with her, we set off, ably lead by Jackie, on our 17 mile trek. 
Francoise had put in a lot of thought and effort to cleverly design a route that passed by 16 of the Weston Walkabout Benches, all affording great views of the surrounding Hertfordshire countryside. 

On our return, the perfect finish to our great day was being welcomed back, with her yummy cookies, by Francoise daughter Sarah and her beautiful one year old grand daughter Lily.
Thank you of course to our walk leader Jackie but also to Francoise, whose hard work enabled us to enjoy her jolly good walk for a second time.
