Barkway to Chrishall Circular 23/03/25

Thank you to Maggie for an enjoyable circular walk from Barkway today via Little and Great Chishill, Chrishall, Duddenhoe End , Langley and Nuthampstead. The highlight was a visit to the beautiful Hamlet Church in Duddenhoe End - a converted tithe barn, and one of only two thatched churches in Essex. A shame that the misty, murky weather meant we missed out on some great views.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
