The Epping Fryer on the Epping Ongar Railway 04/06/2025
A walk, a train ride and fish and chips!
As part of the Essex and Herts LDWA 50th Anniversary celebrations, we enjoyed a fish and chip lunch on the Epping Fryer on the Epping Ongar Railway
After an 8 mile walk following part of the Three Forests Way we boarded our train in North Weald for the round trip to Ongar for our fish and chips (plus a few beers!).
We then had a shorter walk back to our cars following The Essex Way and including a brief stop at Greenstead Church, the oldest wooden church in the world. A great day out!
