An undulating figure of eight walk through the best of Constable Country taking in Flatford Mill (The Haywain), the cottage of Willy Lott, Dedham and stretches of the River Stour. A night section on the Shotley Peninsula between the rivers Orwell and Stour, close to the sea at Harwich and Felixstowe, with the sights and sounds of the docks

Limit of 180. No entries OTD. Online entry only at SiEntries from 1st March 2023 (https://ldwa.org.uk/EssexAndHerts/M/1126/challenge-walks.html). Route description and GPX file will be available on the Essex & Herts website approximately 2 weeks before the event. All entrants must bring a mug. The 2023 Shotley Peninsula 50 is an ideal qualifying event for the 2024 LDWA Speyside Hundred. Closing Date: Saturday 5th August 2023 or when the event is full

25 pounds, non-LDWA 37 pounds and 50 pence includes refreshments at start and at checkpoints, meal at 33 miles, breakfast at end and a certificate to all finishers
