A 50-mile/5,500ft circuit of two of the finest Yorkshire Dales for experienced walkers and runners Using footpaths, bridleways and quiet roads through the attractive dales of Wensleydale and Swaledale including an ascent of Great Shunner Fell To be completed in 22 hours |

Registration 06.30 to 07:45 hrs. Limited to 250 entrants. Start 08:00 (no late starts after the Sweepers have left). To be completed in 22 hours. |

Entry is only by SI Entries. No paper entries accepted and no entries on the day.WE ARE USING ELECTRONIC TRACKERS THIS YEAR FOR THE FIRST TIME. This will aid us in the case of entrants getting lost and also to help checking times at the start and through checkpoints. The tracker is a small (8cm x 4cm x 3cm) lightweight (100gm) device and should be placed on the top strap of your rucsack or bumbag. Marshals will assist attaching the trackers securely at registration. DO NOT ENTER THIS EVENT IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH CARRYING A TRACKER. Fee Early Bird rate of £40.00 for LDWA Members and £45.00 for Non-LDWA Members until the end of January 2026From 1/02/2026 £45.00 LDWA Member and £50.00 Non-LDWA MemberOver 18's only. Sorry, no dogs.

Event Terms & Conditions along with a Risk Assessment can be found on the drop down menu above. As this is a walk over moorland and at night; a suggested kit list (weather dependent) includes: suitable footwear, waterproofs (top & trousers) & spare fleece, compass, whistle, torch (with spare batteries) & emergency bivvy bag (not foil blanket) & food. Navigational skills required for night time walking over open moorland. Please bring a mug to use on the event. If you have any medical/allergy issues where you need to supply your own food then please contact the organiser via email and agree arrangements for ensuring you have food safe for your own consumption at the event. The (simple) route description is to be carried at all times and used in conjunction with either a map or gps device. |
