Meet at Ash Vale rlwy stn (07:54 from London Waterloo), post code GU12 5LT. Ash Vale rlwy stn circular (Waterloo - Brookwood - Alton line), near North Camp rlwy stn (Reading - Guildford line). Drivers can use Ash Vale rlwy stn c.p (free at weekends). There is a 16mile,10:45ish start option: If walk leader told in advance, one can join at Brookwood rlwy stn (09:42 or 09:54 from London Waterloo) - Brookwood Cemetery side exit - & have a linear 16 mile walk to Ash Vale
Walk uses permissive access: crosses army training area (beware military debris), some canal towpath & Brookwood Cemetery
General Notes
1000ft ascent no real hills, moderate pace. Please bring picnic lunch (lunch by a pub). This is a joint walk with the London group
