Check up on the Countryside Code.

Livestock and rights of way - how livestock farmers can reduce risks: advice from the NFU.
Using the train? Check National Rail times.  Car parks at Southeastern stations.
Keep an eye on the BBC Weather, and check for flood warnings.
Please note that the times advertised are the times that the walks start.
To be ready to go when the walk leader sets off, please try to arrive at least 10 minutes before the advertised time.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
