Again we have brand new routes for this event starting from our popular Headquarters at West Heath School, Ashgrove Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 1SR (GR TQ526529).
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at the event this year due to school ground rules.
There are three routes; 30 miles, 22 miles and 15 miles.These are primarily on footpaths and lanes and head towards Knockholt before returning via Brasted and Ide Hill.
Historically this event fills up quickly, and we always have a waitlist, so avoid disappointment and enter as soon as you can. The event will be limited to 225 participants
The Entry costs for the event are:
LDWA Member - 30 Miles £14.00
Non Member - 30 Miles £20.00
LDWA Member - 22 Miles £11.00
Non Member - 22 Miles £16.00
LDWA Member - 15 Miles £11.00
Non Member - 15 Miles £16.00
From the entry fee, £1.50 is a charitable donation to the School. It also includes: tea/coffee/biscuits at the start, with plenty of food and drinks at all checkpoints and hot food at the finish.
On arrival at West Heath School, please park in the school car park as directed by marshals.
The start time for 30 and 22 mile routes is 8.00am and the 15 mile route starts at 10.00am.
Please note that fast walkers / runners (pace 4 mph+) must start at 10am.
Everyone is to finish by 7pm. There will be a certificate for all in-time finishers.
All entrants are to carry their own mug as none will be provided but Kent group mugs will be made available to buy on the day.
You are advised to wear suitable footwear and clothing and must carry a printed route description, maps (OS Explorer 147), compass; a torch will also be required if you finish after 4pm.
