Walk the ECP / Saxon Shore Way to Whitstable. Average speed - 3mph. Finish at Whitstable station
General Notes
Very long lunch stop at the Sportsman gastro pub at Seasalter (after 7 miles). Lunch is £85+ 10% gratuity for the “Tasting Menu” - actually offers four choices for each course. Good food (Michelin One Star), relaxed & informal. Route is rail accessible, no driving is needed, so wine may be consumed. No need to change clothes, but perhaps change footwear. Pub will find somewhere to store our gear. Repeated from last year by request from those that came - all have booked this year. Up to 3 places available. Booking with leader is essential.
