Meet at Northbourne Parish Hall. Parking available along The Drove if the Hall c.p is in use

Pace will average 3mph with 1025 ft of ascent. There is a significant amount of road walking & one water meadow (so waterproof boots and/or socks advisable)

General Notes
A walk visiting the former Kent mines of Betteshanger, Tilmanstone & Snowdown. Lunch stop in Goodnestone (pub & tea room available although busy on Sundays so picnic advised)

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
