Market Place, Charing, The start time has been scheduled to allow those arriving by train from London to make the short walk from Charing station. Limited free parking is available at the start in Market Place. There is also free parking available in the surrounding residential streets
A 24 mile undulating circular walk with 1400 feet of ascent. Starting outside the Archbishop of Canterbury's former palace in the village of Charing. The walk will be brisk & combines sections of the Pilgrims/ North Downs Way & the Augustine's Camino. The first half of the day will be over bridleways, well surfaced footpaths & quiet country lanes. The second half will be more challenging as we negotiate lesser used footpaths & cross multiple fields. The Lunch stop will be at the Bredgar & Wormshill Railway Tea Room
