The road to Guston directly from Dover Castle is closed. Recommended access is from the A2/A258 roundabout towards Deal and take the 1st left opposite Swingate pub to follow lane into village.

A hilly route around Dover devised by Graham Smith, taking in Western Heights, Whinless Down, Coombe Down and Oldpark Hill. Picnic or coffee shop at Kearsney Abbey for lunch. 2597 ft of ascent
