Walk Report
This is an anti-clockwise walk and starts from Sandown Castle, Deal. It heads northwards between the coastline and golf links, coinciding with both the Saxon Shore Way and White Cliffs Country Trail. It then turns inland to reach Sandwich before joining the Stour Valley Walk, passing the ruins of a Roman Saxon Shore fort at Richborough Castle. The route then heads south west to the village of Ash before turning south east to pass through Eastry, Finglesham and Betteshanger Country Park, before returning to the start point.Other Files
