A circular walk, mostly on paths & bridleways with short distances on minor roads. Much follows parts of the Wivey Way, West Deane Way & Brendon Towers Way routes. Lakeside, riverside & forest walking which crosses pasture land, which at this time of year can be muddy. Hilly throughout with some walking on quiet country lanes
General Notes
Dogs welcome if on a lead throughout. Please bring a packed lunch & be prepared for wet, windy winter conditions.
The walk is seen as an opportunity to welcome members recently joining the Cornwall & Devon group from Bristol & West. On completion the community hall has been booked to enable us to get together. The walk will be our Christmas Social with mince pies and mulled wine (alcohol and alcohol free) please bring a cup. A potential for a late finish so please bring a torch
