Looping Around Leusdon - 25 April 2026

Thanks to everyone who entered.....the weather gods were kind and it was a beautiful day on the moor! We'll shortly be requesting feedback from participants.  This event will be taking a break in 2027 (due to our group hosting the 100) but we'll definitely do it again! 

Looping around Lesudon was a LDWA members only event starting and finishing at Leusdon Memorial Hall in south east Dartmoor.  

Entrants undertook distances of 10, 20 or 31 miles by undertaking 3 loops of approx 10 miles each in a specific order. The routes are a mix of open moor, woodlands, bridleways, footpaths, fields with livestock, river walks and lanes.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
