A long standing issue in the Cornwall and Devon group is that often members incur expenses when helping on challenge events either by baking food for checkpoints or marshalling, but don't - for one reason or another - claim for their expenses such as ingredients or mileage.

We also felt that some people may wish to help on events but didn't volunteer because they didn't realise that they could make a claim towards their mileage or other expenses.

In order to make it easier for group members to claim for expenses incurred for group purposes e.g - cake making, marshalling for events, or recceing challenge event routes, an expenses claim form has been produced which can be accessed here and emailed to treasurer.cornwallanddevon@ldwa.org.uk for approval and payment.
