Somerset not Levels - 10/11 October 2026

 

New for 2026... in preparation for the 2027 Jurassic 100, we will again be running a 50 mile qualifier.  However this year, instead of the popular Potter round the Otter, we will be in Crowcombe, on the edge of the Quantock Hills national landscape.

As a welcome for our new Somerset members, and to provide old and new members with the chance to qualify for the 2027 LDWA Jurassic hundred at a local event, we give you Somerset not Levels. This 50 mile event will be two loops with each starting and finishing in Crowcombe Village Hall. One loop will head towards the Brendon Hills and the other onto the Quantocks to showcase West Somerset in all its autumn colours.

Entries: via SiEntries - 1 April 2026 (LDWA Members). Completion of a 30 mile one day event within 12 months prior required

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
