Route
Great Hockham picnic site, A1075. Nearest postcode is IP24 1PA; this will take you to Great Hockham village not the picnic site so suggest you check the location prior to travel. Forestry England website gives details & map

We initially head south through & soon on the edge of the forest to pick up Hereward Way & then Peddars Way. We shall walk north on Peddars Way until we turn east through Great Hockham forest towards & into Great Hockham village. Lunch can be taken on the village green before an optional medicinal beverage at the Eagle pub. We then head out of the village along quiet roads passing Little Hockham before turning back through the forest to the c.p. Paths are generally good throughout although some could be muddy if we’ve had a lot of rain. Please bring sufficient food & drink for the day

General Notes
09:30 start to allow extra time for weekday morning traffic. No toilets at start/finish. c.p has no charge. OS Explorer map 237 Dogs are welcome but must be under control, & where indicated must be on a lead
