Route
Starting from "The Imperial", New North Road, Exeter EX4 4AJ & with the option of a 91.15 start from St Davids Station meet outside the main entrance. Trains from the west due to arrive at 09.13, & 09.15 from the east. Although if arriving by train you are welcome to join in a pre-walk breakfast (or coffee) in the Imperial from 08.30 for all participants
The route follows the traditional published route with a slight alteration at the start, so to accommodate train arrivals. A pleasant urban walk which links many of the green open spaces, parks & riverside walks around the City. The walk is intended to take place at a "WASP" (Walking at a Sociable Pace) of no more that 2.5mph. there is road walking, where there are pavements
General Notes
Bring a picnic lunch, potential for a pub visit probably at the end. Carry waterproofs & be prepared for muddy sections. Dogs welcome if on a lead
