Route
Bottom of Freston Hill in long Layby next to River Orwell. Nearest Post Code IP9 1AB If coming from Ipswich direction pass the Oyster Reach & The Suffolk Food Hall on your Right. Continue along B1456 towards Shotley, the layby is on the left at the bottom of the hill

Starting along the river towards Ipswich through the Park & nature reserve at Bourne Hill to Belstead & Bentley Woods and over to Alton Water, returning via the various woodlands back to Freston

General Notes
There are toilets within the first 2 miles. A pub stop at Tattingstone around lunch time. Please bring a packed lunch as although only 14 miles will probably be mid afternoon before we finish
