We will meet at Thetford train station and catch the 09:36 Brandon train (£5.70). If you wish to start the walk at Brandon station then please be ready at . Parking suggestions at Thetford train station , Wilco car park is free and a 10 minute walk from the station. Thetford leisure centre is also free parking and slightly closer. Some street parking may be available in Station Rd and Station Lane. Please consider car share where possible
We will set out and head up the High St, crossing the river and entering the forest, bearing right towards Lakenheath Warren. We cross the heath passing the Elveden war memorial and the A11 (via the underpass) to pick up the old & new Barnham slips leading to Barnham common and back into Thetford
