Kittell Close c.p, Watton, IP25 6DA. Free parking Expl map 237. What three words: Treetop, Thirsty, Sometimes

This is a repeat of the walk in July 2023.

Watton is twinned with the German town of Weeze! Just so you know!

From the c.p we head towards Carbrooke, then back towards Watton to pick up a path leading past the old airfield into Griston & then Caston. We then head towards Thompson which is likely to be the lunch stop. After lunch we head through Pockthorpe & pick up Peddars Way for several kilometres before deviating off towards Merton & then through into Watton

General Notes
No toilets are available at the start/finish but maybe available elsewhere in the town. The terrain is varied throughout with limited undulation. Paths are good. There is some quiet road walking. There are several opportunities to buy food & drink in the first half of the walk. Dogs welcome but request they be on a lead where required
