A five-minute walk to the station. As this is a multi-use sports field and likely to be busy on Saturday afternoon it is suggested we park to the far side of the tennis courts, behind clubhouse. Double parking may be necessary. As an alternative, there is roadside parking on the west side of the Norwich Road, (A144) opposite the Police Station. A footpath, to the south of the railway bridge, leads down to the station. Joining Instructions Meet at 8:50am, and register before boarding the train, on Platform 1 south side of the station. For walkers parking at Dairy Hill, you need to walk the full length of the platform 2, northside, and cross the track at the barrow crossing. Any walker having an early breakfast in Beccles, we will be passing Weatherspoon’s, Market Street side at about 9:35/9:40 am

We weave our way through Beccles town into open countryside and passing through historic estate landscapes and village greens. We visit the amazing Dragon House & Garden, and follow part of the perimeter track to Holton WWII airfield before descending into Halesworth.
