General Notes
Originally planned as a training event for forthcoming challenge events. This walk will be at a brisk pace of 3 mph or more. Bring waterproofs & clothing suitable for moorland walking. Picnic lunch. Dogs welcome if on a lead

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
