Route
Bickleigh Mill c.p. use the public c.p under the road bridge. Not the café c.p. Off the A396 on the south side of Bickleigh Bridge. EX16 8RG
A circular route around the Exe valley in Mid-Devon. A hilly route crossing farmland. Much of it on paths & rights of way - with sections of quiet country lanes. Expect small sections of mud after periods of rain. Visiting the river Exe, the Grand Western Canal, Huntsham, Bampton Down, Cove, Stoodleigh, Calverleigh, Buzzards nature reserve & Cadeleigh before returning to Bickleigh
General Notes
This walk is likely to finish in the dark, so bring a torch and hi-viz. Bring sufficient food & drink. Waterproofs & footwear suitable for potentially wet or muddy sections.
Dogs welcome if on a lead - we cross farmland which contains livestock
