Start Time

Route
This is a linear walk along the wonderful Northumberland Coast. Park our cars in Warkworth where there is ample free parking next to the river (NU247062). We catch the X18 bus at 7:22am from Warkworth to Embleton. Note the £2 current bus journey fee, a bargain. The bus arrives in Embleton ( Greyfield bus stop post code NE66 3XA) at approximately 8:32am. The walk will start at 8:45am at Embleton ( Greyfield bus stop)

Embleton, Craster, Boulmer, Alnmouth before returning to the picturesque village of Warkworth & our cars. Where possible we will be walking on the delightful beaches of the Northumberland Coast

General Notes
Leader will be John Scott. So basically those wishing to do the shorter walk will get off the X18 bus at Embleton instead of Beadnell thus doing a shorter walk back to Warkworth. Please ensure that you are at the bus stop in Warkworth on time. Arriva buses like the tides will not wait for man or beast whatever the excuse. It would be advisable to arrive in Warkworth by 7:00am and get to the bus stop by 7:15am to avoid being left behind with the rest of the group waving at you from the back of the bus. Please note that by attending this walk you agree to the Northumbria LDWA group rules with regards to: a) Dogs are welcome on leads, but owners must have up to date public liability insurance b) Photographs of people must be with the full consent of those people for the taking & distribution of the photographs
