In 2026 members of Northumbria LDWA revisited and reinvigorated this decades old Anytime Challenge. A circular walk from Wooler. It is a tough upland walk over rough terrain of 30 miles and 7000ft of ascent. Visiting fourteen Iron Age Hillforts in the Cheviot Hills to the north of the Cheviot. Good navigation skills are required.
