Mercure Norwich Hotel, 121, 131 Boundary Rd, Norwich NR3 2BA. Please park in front of The City Suite, immediately you enter the car park from Whiffler Road, NR6 5JD For your information the Whiffler Road postcode is more correct, as it does not correspond with the hotel’s postcode. The OS ref matches postcode NR6 5JD

A walk meandering along the River Yare Valley, visiting several parks, historical buildings, University of East Anglia, Norwich Cemetery, & Marriotts Way Heritage Trail.The route will highlight the University (the Broad, SCVA, Ziggurats, Mathematical bridge), Earlham Hall (home of Gurney family & Elizabeth Fry), Eaton Park; Grade II listed, Marriotts Way Heritage Trail, Marston marshes, & cemetery history.

General Notes
Mainly rural, although some urban walking. Please bring sufficient food & drink for the day. Sorry No dogs as these are forbidden in the cemetery This walk, is a recce, for the National AGM Walk B, the following Saturday, although has an additional loop
